The 2009 Kyle H. Metheny scholarship winner is Ari Kasprowicz. Ari is the son of Alfred and Geralyn Kasprowicz of Kingwood. During her time at Preston High, Ari was as three year letterman in cross country and broke numerous regional and state records in her career including 2009 state championships in the 1600 and 3200 meter runs. Ari represents the type of character and leadership that make all associated with the scholarship proud. Ari will attend Syracuse University in the fall of 2009 and will be a part of the Orange track and field team.
