The 2004 winner is Zachary Metheny. Zach is the son of Roger and Kim Metheny of Reedsville. As a student at Preston High, Zach excelled both athletically and academically as a member of the Varsity Football, Basketball, and Track and Field teams as well as the National Honor Society and Fellowship of Christian Athletes. He served as captain of both the football and basketball teams and was named Dominion Post Athlete of the Week in football and basketball, All-State Football, and All-NCAC Conference in all three of his chosen sports. Zach was recognized as the 2^nd Runner-Up to King Buckwheat in 2003 and in Knights Honors, representing the top 2% of his graduating class. He is currently maintaining a 4.0 grade point average while pursuing a degree in Pharmacy at West Virginia University.
